Am I glad it's weekend!

Into the hills and far away...

We went for a walk at the nature reserve yesterday. Went to two waterfalls. A group of us went to the first waterfall ... and then 5 of us carried on to the next one. What a walk. Can't wait to do it again!

Interschools

Yesterday was our last interschools athletics .. what a legendary day! Even though we have been coming stone last for the last 16 years, we yet again came last this year, but we reached our target of 150 points . .. by getting 187 points! Today was one of the craziest school days ever! One of our teachers got her hair shaved off ... as part of the bet! Another teacher got his beard shaved off (the last time he was so clean cut was back in 1984!) and the deputy principal had her hair sprayed green. After break we went back to class, when over the intercom the cheerleaders started doing cheers ... all of the sudden the whole school started running out of the classrooms and doing cheers. It was really awesome! Our school is so crazy. We went around the whole school screaming cheers and finally ended up on the field ... it was a mission trying to get back to school! That's what I love about our school. Even though we came STONE last ... we still celebrate as if weOur school's theme was all that jazz. It was really original and well done!

Clara and Kath 18th

Well, another weekend, and another 18th. Clara and Katherine celebrated their 18th together. It was a nice night of chilling and it was an all girls party. Good food, good vibes, happy 18th Clara and Katbut!The decorations were really cool! It really made me feel lazy ...

A Super Post

Super Post? Well hopefully I'll be able to type this up in about 5 seconds because I need to eat breakfast before I head off to the institution known as school ... the limitation? My keyboard! It's half broken ... so I'm clunking away like a clunker!

Well ... this weekend has been SO HOT .. I've basically just sat at home lazing around, and I went for a swim too! The humidity is really bad ... not good Cape weather! But on Sunday it started raining (relief!) so yeah ... thank God for that!I had to take some photos of my friend Helen as she is going overseas soon! She just needed some for her work that she is applying for.
We also went to visit friends too ... this is their youngest son ... I like this photo .. :)
Shame, the oldest son was really scared of my camera .. and he's usually very shy so it was quite a shocker when he started talking to me! I hope we are friends now! :)

Well ... that was super indeed .. now it's off to school and back into the heat!

Just keep swimmin'

Today was our last swimming gala of our school lives! Man .. it was a lot of fun than other years! The matrics also had to do a synchro/dance item .. and our class won! yay! What a fun day ... and a lot of hard work was put into it ... but it was worth it ! It was a lot to fun!
The synchro girls had to get their hair done .. Candy does not look too happy!

JOOL '08

Yesterday we went to Karnival, which was a day with bands playing at the big grass patch in town. Well, it's a typical let's get drunk day, but don't worry, I go for the music! It was a lot of fun, with interesting moments inbetween! This whole week has been crazy, with the 1st years arriving at varsity and their orientation week.
Yesterday I stepped on a staple and had to go to the doctor ... and get a tetanus shot. I actually panicked, but it wasn't that sore, but now it hurts!
The bands were cool, I only watched 2 bands, but it was a lot of fun, grooving and having a good time with friends.
This is goldfish .... AWESOME BAND!!!!!
Now today it's raining .. love rainy weather!
